BOX LACROSSE

Box lacrosse is often an indoor version of the sport and a popular alternative to traditional field lacrosse. It's played between two teams, each with six players, where the field is called a "box." Box lacrosse is often played in hockey arenas once the ice is removed (go figure, it started in Canada).

Loveland Lacrosse Club offers both winter box, and outdoor summer box lacrosse - simply played with fewer players and shorter playing time than regular games. The summer games have taken place at Miami Riverview Park; the winter league at Wall2Wall in Mason.

Loveland Lacrosse Club is on the forefront of bringing outdoor lacrosse to a new level in our region. Read this article published in Loveland Magazine about the project slated for start in summer 2012!
