Girls Fall Box 2018
The Loveland Girls’ Fall Box League is for beginners and experienced players. It is an excellent opportunity for kids playing other sports in the Spring to give lacrosse a try. It’s fun, laid-back (no practices) and inexpensive.
Each Age Group will alternate between our Loveland and Sycamore locations and will play between 3PM and 6PM on Sunday Afternoon/Evenings.
Our 2nd-4th Grade Camps will spend the first 30 minutes working on the basics of lacrosse such as ground balls, throwing, catching and cradling. Middle School Player will serve as instructors and help the beginners on technique through fun games. The final 30 minutes will be spent playing small sided scrimmages.
Our 5th-6th Grade League will feature brief, 15-minute coaching sessions aimed at both fundamentals and lacrosse IQ. For example, we may spend 10 minutes reinforcing a basic topic such as “giving when you catch”, followed by a brief demonstration on offensive spacing. We will then go right into pick up games with referees. Coaching will be kept to an absolute minimum during games to allow girls to learn to play without interference.
Our Middle School League will consist of 5v5, (plus a goalie)40-minute games. There will be 2, 20-minute halves with a running clock and a 5-minute halftime. Official referees will be present.
*** When registering, make sure to enter your school so teammates can be paired together. If too many/not enough girls from one school sign up, they will be paired with another school to create an additional team, but also allow girls to play with classmates.
Coaches are welcome to enter a team, please just make sure to send a separate email to
